After graduating in 2013, I got a job at SofaScore. At the time, it was a small company with only several employees. From year to year, we have grown both in knowledge and the number of employees. As we grew, we noticed a need for standardization of rules and use of different tools. We decided to go for the newest and popular ones. This was one of the biggest challenges in the development of the SofaScore project; keeping the product and the technology up to date with the current standards. I think that we have done an amazing job here. I’ve been in SofaScore for seven years now and I can still say that I go happy to work. I’m pretty sure that my colleagues share my thoughts.
Join a team of eighty passionate and dedicated experts, juniors and students. Together we will take care of one of the biggest digital products in Croatia and its global audience. All that from our office in Vrbani, Zagreb.

Stories of our employees
Work-life balance is a phrase we hear often, but it is almost impossible to achieve because it requires great synergy and collaboration throughout the years inside a company.
Since SofaScore recognized the importance of this from its beginnings, it remains a place with a healthy atmosphere. When you work in a company where you can be creative, manage projects without stress, learn something new every day and feel like you are part of the team, it’s not difficult to get up in the morning and give your best at work.
SofaScore is a perfect fit for my personal development and continuous improvement in the field of management since the app is growing on a daily basis and internal organization has to follow the growth. The greatest advantage of working as a project manager in SofaScore is the fact that we don’t have clients who expect impossible deliverables ASAP—everything that we implement has to have a perfect sense to our users.
The advantage of working for a single product is in the possibility to deeply understand your “client”. You have the opportunity to get to know the people that you work with, and they get to know you as well. In this way, your unique perspective inevitably becomes a part of the final product.
A beautiful part of this job is the possibility to develop yourself. You have to build the courage to release solutions with which you might not always be comfortable. But after you get real feedback from the users and colleagues, you have an opportunity to redo the design from a fresh perspective.
In SofaScore you have a feeling as if you’re working on your own business. Here you will experience a broad scope of different tasks. Also, you will have the freedom that’s not usually associated with the notion of working on a single product.
Designers in SofaScore always ask questions. What need am I trying to fulfill? For whom? Why? How will it benefit our audience?
P.S. There is no overtime.
